Candlelight Museaum Tour

We invite you to visit Schell and Pearce buildings on South Broadway for a candlelight tour. See Victorian-decorated rooms, a lighted Christmas ceramic village with over 100 buildings, and the Gagne skater sculpture.  This tour is included with the Trolley Light Tour.  This tour alone is $3/person; free admission for Salem Historical Society members. Reservations are not required, you can come any time between the hours listed.
By appointment for groups of 10 or more.

Monthly Meeting

"Christmas Cheer" presented by The Lords and Ladyes of Tapestries of Ohio, Inc., who will provide us our Christmastyme entertainment complete with period costumes, songs, and instruments of the Middle Ages and Renaissance.

Tapestries  of Ohio, Inc. is a non-profit, self-sustaining organization dedicated to providing educational and entertaining activities in the Mahoning Valley. Members of Tapestries of Ohio volunteer their time and talents throughout the year to ensure quality performances. Tapestries of Ohio, Inc. is an associate member of the Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County.

Attendees are asked to bring their favorite dessert or appetizer to share. 

Ginger Grilli will provide beverages, and David Stratton will be the greeter.

Come to downtown Salem to enjoy holiday sales, carriage rides, and charming window displays.  

From 10am to 1pm, our gift shop (entrance at 239 South Lundy Avenue) will be open for unique local gifts, including the Salem Community 2020 Calendar.

We are also offering Victorian Christmas tours at our South Broadway entrance from 10am to 1pm. 

Salem Second Saturday is a cooperative effort of Downtown Salem Partnership and Salem Area Chamber of Commerce.

Quakertown Trolley Light Tour

Call 330-337-6733 for Reservations (recommended).  Walk ins are welcome on a first come basis.  *Tours at 9 and 10 pm will be added as needed. Trips with less than 15 may be cancelled.  We will confirm your date and time.  Afterwards, a visit to the Museum by candlelight is included.
Cost is $6 per adult, $3 per child ages 3-6, and children under 3 are free.
